Take fresh thick curd/yogurt, homemade or store bought. Make it chilled. If homemade & have malai on its top. Collect it & keep in aside or in refrigerator.
In a mixing bowl, take yogurt/curd, add powdered/granulated sugar, whisk it by hand with a steel whisker or wooden churner/ Mathni.
Whisk or churn it until sugar melts down, add ice cubes churn it well for 30 secs to 1 min.
To bring street style lassi shop's like froth, put the mathni or whistker on the top layer of lassi & churn it with both hands for 5-7 mins to make it more frothy.
This special way of churning is used in street style lassi shops, that is the secret trick to make huge froth in lassi. You can do it at home too.
Pour this sweet Lassi in tall patiala glasses( Punjabi steel glasses) or in earthen glasses to serve it like street style lassi shops.
