This masala oats is an Indian style oats recipe, a healthy food prepared for breakfast by cooking oats in little spices with assorted veggies, easy to make dish at home by simple steps.
Wash & peel the veggies, grate carrot & ginger, finely chop the beans, tomato, green chilies(as per spice level), and coriander leaves.
Heat a pan, add oil(olive oil/vegetable oil), add carrot, beans & tomato, sauté well. Then add salt, green chillies & ginger, sauté for 1 min.
Then add green peas, after 2 mins sauté, add oats, stir it well with all other veggies for about 2 more mins.
Lastly add chopped coriander, mix well. Then add water & turmeric powder(the only masala used in this recipe). Add salt as per taste.
Once it starts boiling, slow down the heat to its minimum, cover the pan, cook till veggies get soft & oats gravy get a desired consistency. Masala oats is ready, turn off the heat.
Best to serve this masala oats in breakfast with fruit juice/smoothy/ green tea/ sugar less black tea/black coffee, a perfect healthy diet for weight loss.
